Freshman year: a girl in my ceramics class heard me say I was a lesbian, called me a “d*ke,” and proceeded to move seats in the class.
Primer año: una niña en mi clase de cerámica me escuchó decir que era lesbiana, me llamó "voteada/cachapera/arepera/tortillera" y procedió a cambiar de asiento en la clase.

The school is really racist, I've heard that the sports teams are really racist at games. I've had a lot of homophobic interactions but this is the only time I've been sincerely called a slur.
La escuela es muy racista, he oído que los equipos deportivos son muy racistas en los juegos. He tenido muchas interacciones homofóbicas, pero esta es la única vez que me han sinceramente insultado.
